A Sweet Reminder

A Sweet Reminder is one of my major assignments I did during my time at Flinders University. It revolves around Claire, who just lost her mother. In light of that she bakes one of her mother's old cookie recipies, though she finds  it difficult to deal with her grief. Her daughter, Poppy, notices this and does the best she can to cheer her mother up and keep her rooted in the present, rather than focusing on her path.

This project went through a lot of changes before it landed on the result above. It was challenging to find out what moments should be stretched out and which shouldn't, and to find approriate timing in this kind of storytelling required several passes.
